Coastal Care Occupational Therapy (OT) provides a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the needs of individuals living with disabilities or injuries. Their expertise includes functional capacity assessments, which evaluate a person’s ability to perform daily tasks and activities, and home modification assessments, designed to make living environments safer and more accessible. They also offer assistive technology assessments to identify the most appropriate tools and equipment to enhance independence, as well as medico-legal reports to support legal proceedings related to the NDIS Tribunal. Coastal Care OT further specializes in creating pressure care and mobility plans to prevent complications and improve movement and comfort, ensuring that individuals can live as independently and safely as possible. Their holistic approach encompasses all aspects of NDIS OT services, aiming to improve quality of life and promote greater autonomy for participants.
Coastal Care Occupational Therapy is pleased to accept referrals from a wide range of sources, including support coordinators, other allied health professionals, and clients themselves. We understand that accessing OT services can sometimes feel complex, so we’ve made the process as straightforward as possible. For NDIS participants, there is no need for a formal GP referral, allowing you to start services quickly. Whether you’re seeking support for assessments, home modifications, assistive technology, or other OT services, we’re here to help and are happy to work collaboratively with your existing support network to ensure you receive the best care possible.
